Description
This walk for everyone explores the nature reserve of Prà delle Nasse, starting directly from the village of San Martino di Castrozza.
The route starts from the Visitor Center of the natural park of Paneveggio Pale di San Martino, located west of the center of San Martino di Castrozza, heading towards the ski area of Prà delle Nasse, by simply following the signs. Once you have passed the parking area of the ski area, take a path that develops parallelly of the paved road that leads to the restaurant of Malga Ces. The walk continues on the flat path in the forest, with the presence of some signs that report information on the local flora and fauna, making the walk more interesting. This first part of the route develops within the Prà delle Nasse biotope (natural reserve). Additionally, the presence of some observation pitches allow you to admire the various types of plants and to occasionally spot animals. The track turns with a large curve that crosses the stream of Rio Brentèlla, heading towards the start of the Colbricón Express lift, where the only real uphill stretch of the walk begins. After going up the ski slope for about 100 m, you reach a crossroads with a gravel road that you take to the left.
The road enters the forest and heads towards Colfósco, a hill located south-west of San Martino di Castrozza. At the first crossroads with the road to the hut of Malga Crél, the route follows the signs for Agility Forest / Colfósco. After the crossroads, at the next intersection, the path continues along the main forest road until it reaches a third and final crossroads, where the walk continues along the road to the left, drawing a sort of hairpin bend. The route, always along the road, now turns around the hill and begins to descend towards San Martino di Castrozza on a short downhill stretch where there are interesting glimpses of the lake called Laghetto Plank and the Dolomites of the Pale di San Martino. Once you reach the shores of the lake, the path runs along its right side until it reaches the waterfall where the lake turns into a small stream; from here the walk continues to the next bridge, crossing it and arriving directly at the Visitor Center, starting point of the loop.

- From the Visitor Center of the park of Parco Naturale Paneveggio Pale di San Martino, head towards the ski area of Prà delle Nasse [0h 10],
- From the location of Prà delle Nasse, continue along the path called “O Piccolo” until you reach the start of the ski lift named Colbricón Express [0h 20],
- Climb up for about 100m along the Valbonéta ski slope [0h 25],
- Continue along the gravel road towards Colfósco, then towards Laghetto Plank [0h 50],
- Follow the right bank of the lake of Laghetto Plank until reaching the end of the lake, then cross the bridge [1h 00]. ✓
